If you're interested in joining us, please leave a message here, let us know a little bit about you. We're not looking for achievements, gearscore, or anything else, just tell us a little about what you'd like in the game, what sort of thing you're looking for. We're after good people with potential, not numbers!
A blank sheet of paper's a bad thing, so I'll give you an example and introduce myself while I'm here.
Hi, I'm Alquiel!
I've gamed and role-played for way too many years than I care to mention, and spent far too many weekends in the dim and distant past running round woods in silly costumes hitting people with latex swords. I got sucked into WoW after a couple of years in LotRO, and haven't looked back since. (It's drier than larping, and you bruise less.)
In RL I am based in the UK, and am happily married to Colt who is eternally grateful that I am as addicted to gaming as he. We have three evil cats, a huge collection of books of all sorts including the sequential art of Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore and a strong appreciation of The Hitchhiker's Guide and The Princess Bride. I have a strong appreciation of both the art of bellydance (yes, I have danced with a tray of lit tea-lights on my head), shoes and high end chocolate....
Although I'm still fairly new to WoW itself, and very new to WoW raiding, I've regularly raided in LotRO, and one of the hightlights there for me was to be chosen as part of a six man team who cleared the Rift and downed the Balrog which is normally done as a 12 man raid. There was a huge team effort to get a number of us to that point, and I was honoured and delighted to be one of those six. I'm now looking forward to more challenges!

Hello There!
Hi,
I'm Versia and I'd quite like to join your lovely guild if you're willing to take me! I created a character on your realm earlier this evening and had a brief chat with Alquiel who suggested I post an introduction, so here I am :-)
I'm a 26 year old postgraduate computer science student living in the north west of England. I've been playing WoW since 2005 but I didn't reach "end game level" until the end of Burning Crusade. With the launch of Wrath I helped form a small, casual 10 man raiding guild made up of RL friends and I've played with them ever since - primarily as a Holy Priest (I do love healing). Recently I've felt like I need a change of scenery, a break from the norm; I stumbled across your recruitment post in the LiveJournal wow_ladies community and a lightbulb went off over my head.
I'd very much like to join your guild as a shaman, levelling up, with an eye to doing a bit of raiding in the future (but not expecting any guarantees of course). I'd like a fresh start that doesn't include transferring across any of my old characters and I understand if that could possibly seem a bit strange, but it'd be nice to treat the game like it's something new again and have a clean slate.
Classes I have played and consider myself to know to some reasonable level (In order of knowledge, starting highest..) :-
Holy Priest, Shadow Priest
Enhancement Shaman
Frost Tanking DK
Retribution Paladin, Holy Paladin
Other assorted info.. I'm a bit of a UI fanatic, forever tweaking and adding new things. I like mining and herbing, it's mindless and theraputic :-). I love photography, own a digital SLR and often go wandering finding things to take pictures of. I'm a Formula 1 racing fan and went to a race for the first time this year (got to combine my love of F1 and my love of photography ;-)). I've played a bit of the WoW Trading Card Game, though I wouldn't actually consider myself to be any good. Oh and I'm a girl.
If you have any other questions, want any clarifications, or anything at all! Just reply, I'll keep checking this evening :-) Thanks for taking the time to read.

Uhu...you are soooo busted, Joe.
And hi! Welcome to our little family, Vers...Versa... *silence while checking the forum* Versia! Looking forward to see you soon!
And whatever rumours you may hear about me...they are all true. Except the part where they say I have the memory of a goldfish. That one is all lies.
Edit: removed all the lines that makes me look like a blonde.

Have you met Pete? He is a lovely, black drake who likes papayas and small rogues called Baxtoor. I should introduce you two.

Re: Applications
Hi there how are you all?
Right where to start my in game name is Rinaka although this might change when I transfer over. I'm a resto shammy who loves healing I do have an elemental off spec but only use it for quests and messing around.
My real life name is Russ and I live in Felixstowe in the UK with my fiancé and 6 year old son. I like doing all the usual things like spending time with my friends and family going to the gym etc, but I do like to spend my time relaxing playing video games when I get the time.
I've been playing wow on and off since release and was a hardcore player back in vanilla wow and cleared all the content except 40 man naxx and AQ40 in TBC I became more of a casual player and didn't get a great deal of time to raid that much.
In WOTLK I have cleared naxx 10 toc 10 and a bit of Ulduar on my priest and on my shammy I have done 8/12 in icc 10 and had a few attempts at the Lich King got him to 36%.
I'm a very friendly helpful person and will always drop what I'm doing to help out my guild mates even if it's just for something silly.
Before wow came along I spent my time in SWG which was really good fun till they ruined it .
I'm just looking for a new home that's fun and friendly and I'm not pressured into raiding 5 times a week just to stay in the guild I can't commit to that because of real life and that's why I'm here
If there is anything else you want to know then ask away I'm sorting the faction and server change now so hopefully you will invite me and I can join you soon.
Oh and I'm 33 years old and posting this because Alquiel replied to my post on the wow forums.
Hope I have not gone on too much

Nice to see you mate. I did the faction and server jump as well no too long ago and haven't looked back since. I'm sure you will be very happy here it really is something special to be able to play WoW with such an amazing bunch. I know there will be one Shammy in particular who will be your extra special friend as he might now be able to go back to his preferred Elemental raid spec.

Re: Applications
Thanks.
As far as spec is concerned healing is what I do best and it's what I love I've healed nearly all the time in the 5 years I've been playing on and off so you have no worries about me suddenly wanting to change.
I'm just waiting for the server transfer to finish and I'll be there taking ages.
This is the only char I will be transferring although I do have other lvl 80's the only other one I would consider moving is my holy/disc priest.

No worries, I'll try to be about in the afternoon tomorrow, so I can grab you into our fold!
Re: Applications
Hello, all you lovely Enthusiasts.
I was directed towards your guild by some very nice members over in LJ's wow_ladies community, and after rolling an alt and having a chat with some of your awesome people, I was completely sold and my warlock will be joining your crew as soon as Blizzard has finished their magical handwaving to post her over.
I'm a life-long gamer just about to hit the quarter century mark, hailing from the icy wastes of Northr-, err, Finland. Officially I'm a linguistics student trying to figure out what I'm going to do when I grow up without having to go into teaching. My non-WoW hobbies include movies and reading (I'm a huge fan of Wodehouse and Pratchett), as well as various dog sports with my German Shepherd. There's nothing quite like waking up at 5 a.m. on a Saturday morning to go spend the whole day on a muddy, cold field in the rain for some tracking. I also have a thing for cooking and baking, and my personal belief system is built around the conviction that chocolate makes everything better.
Although having been involved in all sorts of gaming and geekery, I didn't have the chance to play WoW until I got a proper computer in the summer of 2009, which makes me pretty new but I'm a compulsive researcher to the point where I like to know a little bit about everything. I haven't the head for theorycrafting and its maths, but I sure appreciate those who do. I have discovered my absolute favourite thing in the game to be holiday events, and it's not rare to find me staying up the first night to poke through as much as event-y stuff as possible.
Sorry if I rambled on, I never really know what to put in introduction-thingies. I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have, and look forward to seeing you all in Azeroth. ^^

Mmmmmm... Chocolate! Hey! Lovely to see you! I was one of the WoW_Ladies who commented on your post, elphane_uk. And German Shepherds! I want one of those. Problem is my fiance likes Jack Russels. And other dogs about that size. We saw a GSD in the local rescue center a few months back and all Graham could say was "It's feet are like dinner plates" in a slightly dazed way. This is going to take some work.
Anyway, looking forward to meeting you.

Alquiel would be here to greet and hug you too, but her internet walked out on her and won't walk back until tomorrow.
If you're about tonight, drop me a note and I'll throw you a guild invite. I'll be on Remaglar or Eglos. See you soon!
Re: Applications
And a hello from me too. I'm with Joe on the 5am madness business -- that's the time to be GOING to bed, not the time to get up!
I'll most likely be around later this evening too so I'll say hi properly then.

Hey,
Sorry to keep poking my nose in your forums I was talking to somebody at work today who jus bought WoW and knew that I played and was asking some questions about stuff. Do you take on new players who have never played WoW before? If so if its ok with you I'll point them in your direction seeing I know how great you guys and girls are and you would look after him
